Just wondering does anyone know how to get the application form to apply for the HDip in Trinity? Plus, when should I start applying?

    From their website:

For an application form, please write to:

    Ms E. Fleeton,
    School of Education ,
    Room 3087,
    Arts Building,
    Trinity College,
    Dublin 2,
    Republic of Ireland.
    Email: efleeton@tcd.ie

The deadline for application is the 14th December in the year prior to which entry is sought.

A phone call might be a more efficient method of getting the form. Bear in mind also that they will look for two references so it would be better to get cracking early on it rather than leaving it until the last minute..

Thanks, much obliged. What type of referees would you recommend?

They look for one from your college/university and I suppose if you could get the second from a different school in the college or a principal in a school if you have done any subbing. Presumably you would need someone who would be of an academic background anyway.

    Hello,

Can anyone tell me when the closing date is for applying for the Post Grad in Primary Teaching in Dublin ? Does one application cover St.Pats and Froebel?
There are no application forms on the St. Pats website so maybe they arent
available for the 2008 course yet? Any information would be really appreciated.
    Thanks

    From their website:

Graduate Diploma in Education (Primary Teaching)

St Patrick’s College currently runs a Graduate Diploma in Education (Primary Teaching) course which is due for completion in June 2008. The course is offered on a full time basis only. We hope to continue the programme in February 2008, however, this has yet to be confirmed. The programme is usually advertised in the Autumn and if you wish to be placed on a mailing list, you are advised to email the admission office at admissions.office@spd.dcu.ie with your name, postal address and subject heading “Graduate Diploma in Education (Primary Teaching)” and we will forward you further information as soon as it becomes available. For your information, last year application forms were available in mid October and the closing date was early November.
