    Hi all,
We have Macs and PCs in work and I need to transfer an Adobe Flash/Illustrator/Dreamweaver/Photoshop licences from a PC to a Mac.

I tried searching about the interweb for information but my search was fruitless.

Any ideas on how to go about this? Is it complicated?

You can't do it. They are sold as completely different software.
You've bought PC software. To use it on a Mac you're going to need to buy the boxed products, with serials, again.

As decob said, give Adobe customer service a call. I believe other people have done it and had to pay for the media along with providing proof of purchase and filling in a letter of destruction for the windows media.

Its not something they are supposed to do but I know Adobe have allowed this to be done before. I know people who have successfully transferred the license over by ringing and giving the PC license which becomes invalid only to be swapped for a Mac license. I would imagine you would need a very good excuse/reason to talk them round though.

I phoned Adobe and gave them my customer number, the order number and the serial number of the PC based Suite and they are going to post out a Mac box of CDs in the next few days.

I had to sign off on a document they emailed me which states some basic information about transferring the licence. (the destruction of the PC serial...blaa blaa blaa...don't give away your serial...that kind of lark)

They charge 10euro for the delivery of the new box. And that's that.

    Dead simple so it was.
