Don't know if ye already know this but you can send text messages by e-mail with meteor, just sent the email to 3538xxxxxxxx@sms.mymeteor.ie Sorry if this is common knowledge but i only found out today and find it very handy!

and u can email pictures to your phone by putting the address as 3538xxxxxxxx@mms.mymeteor.ie ...also if u have a gmail account u can set up certain emails to be sent to ur phone aswell ie bebo alerts etc

As far as I know you can do it on Vodafone too, I used to use it a couple of years back, you had to put "Mail" in as the first word of the text. Without the apostrophe's of course

Both have always been available. The SMS one used to be quick and reliable. The MMS one being slowly and less reliable in the past.
