In my rush to get to work without being completely late (I start at 8am...) I forgot to double check what time the signing is at this evening. Is it at 6pm?

don't you have to get passes in the morning to get in anyway?

wonder if there are any left.

Not a chance. According to people on IMDB they were gone within 15 minutes. Don't know if that's true, but I doubt there'd be any left by now anyway.

You do, and I got one. They opened at half eight and I was already a half hour late for work at that stage so I legged it straight after and forgot to double check the time. Any news articles i've read say 6pm but I just wanted confirmation since I have to bunk off work again to go to it and want to cut down on how long I spend doing that.

What time is the screening the Savoy? I wonder is he going to be present for it, or just come for the Q&A.

They were. There was a pretty big queue (it went around the corner past Bruxelles) and by the time that group had their armbands there was about 20 left. A few people nipped back in for a second arm band (they were giving them out loose) and a few late comers got lucky. HMV made a killing on €10 copies of the Death Proof script.

    Lodgepole,
Someone on IMDB said 6pm too, on the QT board there. You could give HMV a call (if they answer) to double-check, but I'd say 6PM is right.

    The screening starts at 20.20

Met him at it today. He came across as really nice, very talkative to everyone. He complimented my Death Proof tshirt, which made my day of course.
    I'm a happy camper.

damn you football, damn you to hell!!!

Would have loved to ask him why the dialogue scenes were too damn long to make it a enthralling movie

Yeah, it was a good experience. He was very friendly. If I was cynical i'm sure i'd say he had just had a lot of practice... A few very pleasant words, posed for a photo, off I went. Very pleasant, and the Death Proof script is a nice memento. I'm raging that I didn't think to bring my beautiful Reservoir Dogs DVD (the fold out special edition one with all of them on the front) but there's no helping that now.

I recognised literally dozens of people from my years at the horrorthon...

I'm sure he has had a lot of practice, but he seemed to keep dialogue with people quite fresh, it wasn't like he just said the same scripted lines to everyone. It was also quite nice of him to do the signing in the first place, not many film directors do (over here anyway).
The one thing i could have done without was the queuing outside and having random strangers coming up to me every 5 minutes and asking "What are you's queuing for?". I eventually started telling them that it was for the launch of the new Paddy Casey album.

Glad I went, great to meet him, he's a legend. Really nice to everyone there too.

No time to go home and get a DVD for him to sign so I caved and bought the death proof script.

I have a not very good one from my phone, which i'll post when I get home. I got a decent one with him, but it was the guy behind me who took it and I haven't yet received the email.

He was wearing an sequined shirt and a pair of the most outrageous shoes i've ever seen on a man.
