    Hello everyone,

have anyone saw something like meteor descending over Cork last night ?
Eyewitness said "something like comet disintegrated in a sky around 10pm ... broke into five pieces " ....

Any ideas what was that ?

I saw what I thought was a firework in the sky last night around the same time. However, the trajectory of it made me wonder if it was sometime other than a firework. I based in Dublin though.

Yup, Venus is ascending and looking resplendent in the morning sky, but what the OP saw in Cork on Saturday evening is likely to be the same meteorite which crashed in Peru that night.

i was just going to bed at 4am last night, went outside for a smoke and saw a meteor fall. its direction was south south west in the sky, bright orange as it burned along the sky. Amazing to see.
