Button is 32/27 over 70 hands
BB is 28/23 over the same.

They're killing me. They've taken half a buy-in off me re-raising and being generally aggro and outplaying me and the two players to my right are gowlbags - limping, min-raising etc. I'm getting pissed off and I should have left earlier as it was just a bad game for me. They've shrivelled me up to 14/11. I shoved with AK about 20 hands back over one of the buttons re-raises and he folded. I'd hardly ever limp with AA here but I felt sure at least one of them would raise so....good idea / bad idea? Anyway I thought I played it well up to here but then I made a balls of it

    Table Table 128206 (Real Money)
    Seat 2 is the button

Total number of players : 6
    Seat 1: BobSloane ( $190 USD )
    Seat 2: DevilRooster ( $290.25 USD )
    Seat 3: SuperTight5 ( $235.10 USD )
    Seat 4: BurgandySA ( $340 USD )
    Seat 5: RYilmaz ( $157.90 USD )
    Seat 6: Blufferkeeee ( $193.75 USD )

SuperTight5 posts small blind [$1 USD].
BurgandSA posts big blind [$2 USD].

    ** Dealing down cards **
Dealt to BobSloane [ As Ac ]
    RYilmaz folds.
    Blufferkeeee calls [$2 USD]
    BobSloane calls [$2 USD]
    DevilRooster raises [$12 USD]
    SuperTight5 folds.
    BurgandySA raises [$35 USD]
    pazientoff folds

    Action..?

Would have been a great spot to raise and trap. Since you limped I would just shove after a raise and a re-raise of these sizes. I would call in position a fair amount though.

call, then they will think you have 22-88

but really ... some dudes are 3-betting you all over the shop ... and you open LIMP AA????

Well....there was one limper in before me. My plan as such was to cold call the button/big blinds inevitable raise and let him bluff away at it for the rest of the hand. Is this a very bad line to take?

Does your range not get WIDER when you are closer to the button? Just raise. As played I might just flat call and see if one does you the favour of shoving. Else just shove over flop cbet.

Raise to 75 and get it all in on any random flop

Dont mean to derail the thread but i saw something similar in the €100 FO in SE on Monday. 2 limpers into Ozpoker in the hijack and he limps, for 200. The button makes it 1200 to play, **Buchan folds, gets back to Oz and he pops it to 3k.

Button is utterly confused at what hand Oz can have and pushes for 5.5, Oz calls with KK and takes out the buttons 1010.

**Buchan has a habit of raising any button or CO once theres a few limpers so Oz knew this and limped. He got lucky in a way that the button found a hand and managed to get a double up from him.

I understand your thinking in limping AA but its way off..i'd still raise everytime and hope he 3 bets so you can flat call and play a big pot with position against a donk.

    You min-raised didn't you? :D

No, I shoved and they both insta-folded. Was raging I didn't just call and let the hand play out.

shoving in terrible as it telegraphs your hand
    I like the min-raising line :)

I thought shoving might look like I had a pair or AK/AQ and was mad as hell and not going to take it anymore like that guy in Network.

I think I just got excited when I saw raise and re-raise coming. Even though that was typical action from the bb and the button I just fanticised that one of them might actually have a hand.

I would think that min-raising telegrahs my hand...?
