Hope this is the right forum :D

Awful trouble today, trying to buy two books. First it says it can't deliver to either of my addresses (home and work) when it has before, then when i try to email them about the problem the whole thing crashes, every time! Have had no other internet probs today either. Anyone have any idea?

I had the same problem, sent email but no reply, shame for such a big company.

I know they are not shipping toys ect to Ireland at the moment.

For books you can try their Irish site: www.shopireland.ie

Thanks for that. I'll try it although I'm so disappointed as the books I want are quite unusual and very little chance of picking them up here.

alibris are good for old or unusual books. Mainly american suppliers tho.

I would suggest you try www.bookdepository.co.uk. Have started using them myself of late. They are a bit cheaper than Amazon and also have free postage which is amazingly fast. Seem to have the same database of books as Amazon including the unusual and obscure!

Bookfinder will give you some options. Even if you have to purchase from the US, the exchange rate is quite good at the moment.
