I see in the paper Tesco are doing 50% back on consoles and games this weekend. That's 50% back in the form of clubcard points / vouchers in your next clubcard statement.
What does that mean? €100 worth of vouchers for buy a stick of broccoli get a stick of broccoli free??
Anyone familiar with Tesco's 50% back offers?? I'm guessin I can't spend €269 on a wii and then get a reward that I can spend on €134.50 worth of beer?

    Any advice appreciated....

Exactly. I got my 360 on a similar (33%) deal last november. Got around 120 euro vouchers to spend on shopping on anything in store. Picked up a wii today in Tesco clearwater for my girlfriend. Was wondering what are the current gen and best gamecube games that I should get for it as I only had the ps2 and xbox before.

so you got vouchers to spend on any groceries at all?
in other words it's a good deal?

might get a ds also in that case...

Yeah, I work in Tesco and can confirm the vouchers are in the gift-voucher style, that give you €XXX of credit in the store. I think there may be restrictions on what can and cannot be bought with them however, so just be carefull with that.

    Excellent feedback guys.. Thanks Karmabass.

Next question... which is the best store to target for a wii / ds? (Dublin)

'while stocks last' and all that!

The big ones, Clearwater, Clare Hall, Dundrum. Best ringing them and asking what they have left though. No's are on www.tesco.ie
