he is Shane Cadogan from cork, trains at Anthony Corkery's
'CORK THAIBOXING ' club in McCurtin Street (previously on Douglas Street) when he isin't in Thailand.

if you do a search on AX you'll see reports of his fights in Thailand last year,
AFAIK he won 4 or 5 out of 6 by knockout.

its a great achievement for him to win that title.

i think he may be defending it in thailand around november/december

The Thaiboxing circles here have been watching this one the whole way up to Shanes Title fight....As a whole the entire country were behind him.

He may hail from Cork (we can forgive him for that)!!;) but an Irishman no doubt...we are all very proud of him and his acheivement...a real credit to himself, his teachers and to Irish Thaiboxing as a whole regardless if they are or are not Affilated to the Irish Muay Thai Council.

    http://www.muaythaisasiprapa.com/

Shane Cadogan will fight with PornLert T.Seangtengnoi 126 pound on TV7 at Mukdaharn 21 Sep.

AFAIK this match is under professional boxing rules

seems to be common for fighters out there to do pro-boxing bouts as well as muay thai matches
