pcworld seem to have decent prices. And they sell the student version to anyone. The only thing you get is a watermark when printing.

I don't know the price of it at PC World but it is €136 (with delivery from €12.90) at Pixmania. Link here.

yeah openoffice should suit. Its compatible with office 2007. As in it will open files from office, and office will open files from openoffice. The only thing it is missing is the implimentation of share points. You cant check out doccuments, and sign them back in.

Seen that on bargain alerts. Looks unbeatable. If you're stuck or can't take advantage of this OP, I have MS Office Pro 2007, not installed on anything yet. Won't beat the ultimate steal but won't rob ya either. PM if interested.

off-topic Dorsanty but what bike is that in your sig? looks like a Honda CB but is that an underseat exhaust??

If you're a student you can get Office Professional 2007 for €95 from www.studentoptions.com

You will need your college e-mail address so they can verify that you are a student.

I bought office 2003 professional from for €80 in my last year of college.

    how is office 2007 activatied?same as 2003?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 535 ✭✭✭Dorsanty

Yep, the same activation methods as 03.

I'm sure Microsoft put more effort into hardening 07 against the bad bad people who try to get around activation though.
