There was certainly a lot of paint thrown about and there was some broken windows/kicked in doors. While the fire alarm kept going off every five minutes I think that was just people messing around. Plenty of stink bombs set off though. Thrown bottles and stuff too.Good craic though :p

I heard that one of those things that janitors put their mops in was filled with paint and then some dude used a mop to fúck the paint all over the roads etc. I also heard that some stairs wasn't usable because of how many holes people had managed to make in them and that many a hole was also made in some corridors walls - though I wonder how much of it is actually true tbh.

So they put the fear of god into the stairs?

We got a letter from reception today basically saying the behaviour was "unacceptable" and they would be cracking down on it big time. Security has been increased from 2 to 4 (haha) and you have to sign your guests in and out. It also mentioned behaviour on Tuesday night, but that's the first I've heard about that...?

I'm missing out on all the fun stuff out in Barna.

    Sigh

Closest I got was seeing some friends of mine in Corrib Village who were up in Westside buying beer.

Makes you feel low when theyr'e buying beer and your minding trolleys

Oh yes, there was a riot.. bunch of idiots :D
they actually stole our shampoo, and threw it to windows

The letter is quite hilarious, like 4 securityguards will be able to do sth.

On Tuesday they wanted to do a 'sundaynight', but they didn't succeed. You have to show your ID now everytime you come and go at night, and they've closed some of the nights.

My personal favorite is in Dublin airport:

Oi, my Arts degree is very prettiful and when you roll it up in the cardboard scroll thingy it's great for hitting people!! :p

Seriously though, I feel old now because, at 22, Corrib Village sounds like absolute torture. In fairness, they had fair warning, Corrib is for people who (think they) want that kind of thing.

    Hi.

I have a twin sharing room for a male available in Corrib village. Also a single en-suite room available 15mins from NUIG. PM me if anybody is interested or you know anyone interested.

    Thanks.

Oh the wonders of Corrib Village. Some windows were not only broken but actually pulled off the hinges. And worst of all our remote was stolen.

It amazes me that people think that this sort of **** is funny and 'good craic'. I'd love to see somebody landed with the bill for damages.

First years called Setanta or Fiachra, no doubt, passing the buck straight to doddy.
