XDA-Mini s Won't connect to O2

Yesterday I lost my connection to O2. I thought it might be as a result of the network being down but after asking friends on O2 if they had a signal I found out that I was the only not able to connect.

Nothing has happened to the phone, not dropped or anything. Other SIM cards won't work either.

Has anyone an idea what might have happened? It keeps searching but even doing a manual network selection it won't show any networks to connect to.

OK sorry to bump this but this is where it gets weird.

I live down the country and can't get a signal at all but when i come up to Dublin all of a sudden I can pick up a signal. I thought the phone might have an intermittent fault but I've done this a couple of times now and it's always the same, when I get to Dublin I connect to o2 no problem.

I rang o2 and they have no answer for me at all

Is anyone else experiencing this or have any idea what's going on?
