not exactly shooting related (unless you like to use your shotguns while ferreting), but does anyone know where the best place is to get purse nets and hazel pegs for ferreting. they dont have any in my local gun shop in laois, and i dont know many around that do it. anyone know anyone who sells them?

while were are on the subject, does any else here ferret?

i know the place, is it a woman from hong kong that works in the shop? A real nice woman.

she did me and a friend a great deal on tuckland stalking boots. she was looking for €198 a pair but we bought a pair each and got her down to €150 a pair. great boots they are too.

i might try griffen and hawe, they are usually reasonable

€23 is excellent for 10 nets. 6oz ones i presume? i paid €3 a net at the country fair. do they sell the hazel pegs there aswell?

i have two lovely ferrets, born this summer ready to go for the turn of the year, cant wait to get them going. one albino buck, he's a real pet and he's about 4 months old. i bought a polecat jill 2 weeks ago she's about 14 weeks and comes from very small working stock, she's a little wicked but im working on her too.

is this place in athlone town?
