I just realised that this game is out tomorrow!

Will this game manage to pull me away from Bioshock for any length of time?
I'm thinking 'yes'.

I'm so sad, I won't be buying this for awhile. I've got Valkyrie Profile 2, skate and Halo 3 all to play. It will be bought and it will be played but at a later stage.

It looks damn good so I reckon I will get it. Havn't touched the Wii since I bought a 360 about 3 weeks ago. Have completed Gears of war, BioShock and Medal of Honour Airbourne and currently playing Crackdown! I don't have anything much to play for the Wii at the moment.

I got an xbox360 about a month ago too, tvnutz.

Finishing those 3 games in 3 weeks is a fair achievement. Are you unemployed (or a student)?

I somehow managed to finish GoW and Crackdown in just over a week when I first got mine, still not sure how I managed it as I can usually have trouble finding time to fart!

I'm still really undecided about this one, I might wait for EG's review before deciding to buy it...

Sigh another game to add to the list for when I get a Wii (if ever!!). The 1000 year door on gamecube was brilliant, wonder how well this stands up?

It's a quality game. I'm not a fan of Mario games (bar sunshine - although I think I may be alone on that one) anyway, this is a great game. Very cleverly put together. It's tough but easy enough not frustrate.

Just finished a masters,handed in 23,000 word thesis last month so I have decided to take some time out Only working part time,so brings in some money and then split the rest of the time by palying football,watching tv and completing several Xbox 360 games in 3 weeks

In fairness though, both Gears and Medal of Honour were fairly short games!

i reeeeally want this game, playing partners in time on the ds which is basically paper mario ds, and wow... never got the 1000 year door, ill definitely have to search that out too!

1000 year door is class, great fun and tremendous sense of humour, I got super paper mario today but can't play it till sunday! ARGH!! gotta finish sonic and the secret rings too.....

got it last night and think it is superb!!!:D

so far so funny,it is a must-have but definitely not one of the best game that company N has produced,i would say it worth no more than a 8/10,it is not as stunning as the first time we played the New Mario Bros on DS.but still,i am glad that i paid for the game,there are something new in it!:)

Got this game I hated every paper mario so far but went for it non the less and it is a million times better it is more like a proper mario game rather then a paper one and they got rid of that crap fighting system I would recomend this to anyone but be warned. It makes me want Galaxy and I had no interest in it before yesterday

The "crap" fighting system is what made me want to buy this game when I first heard about it... Think I'll stick with new SMB for my platforming thrills, thanks...

Ye it is not too bad. The 2D to 3D switching is great but there are some parts that are annoying. The conversation scenes with the dialogue boxes are really annoying and go on far too long. I just started clicking through them as fast as I could they were doing my head in.

Finished the first world last night... its a fun fun game, and I don't think its as wordy as some reviews made out (no more than other paper marios). The pre-boss battle conversation had me laughing out loud.

I saw a review on youtube last week, and I agree with its one main criticism:

Can't see where to go? Change to 3D.
Can't get past a monster? Change to 3D.
Stuck on a puzzle? Change to 3D.

Plus its pretty easy so far. Hope it gets harder....

my copy of the game seems to skip the wedding of bowser and peach during the intro...
has anyone else noticed this?
i wouldnt have even realised except the manaul mentioned something about it...

im slightly confused as to how a section of the game could get skipped...

I played about 10 minutes of this on sunday before I had to go out, and haven't had a chance to go back (been playing the COD4 beta and a bit of WoW). Now with the TF2 beta on as well I probably won't get a chance for a while, and then Halo 3 is out. Whyyyyy must all these things happen at once?

Are you tapping the A button to skip through the wiimote warnings at the beginning? Very easy to skip the intro that way as it comes in right after it.

I got it today and have only had time to play a little bit... But I like it a lot. I love the converstions too... very funny... I love how the main henchman sounds exactly like Lumbergh from Office Space.

Well mine fecked! Don't know if it is the disc or the machine. The disk looks fine and the machine plays other games and plays up to chapter 2-2 i think. Where you go into the mansion and the maid is being an ass. It just freezes and makes a constant loud noise like a car horn. Very Annoyed :mad:

Funnily when I first put the dsic in my Wii it made some awful whirring sounds.

Its a known issue with some copies of the game I think.

In selective PAL/EU copies of the game, there is a fatal glitch in the game. In Chapter 2-2, players check a bunch of rooms looking for someone, checking with a person called Mimi about her whereabouts. However, if she is spoken to after checking all the available doors, the game freezes. This can be worked around by flipping to 3D and finding the key needed without talking to her.

I found the game way too short. I was quite Disappointed TBH. Fun while it lasted though. Wish I had borrowed it and bought MySims instead.

Nintendo are going to offer free replacements on all discs with the glitch in it!!

Thats a few wii games ive heard of with glitches now, strange for the Big N, I havent played my Wii in ages, still playin RE4!

Haven't picked this up yet but I did just download Paper Mario from the VC and dipped into it for about 30 mins last night. I look forward to get back to it this evening. Little appetite whetter for the new one

Not as good as 1000 year door imo, less rpg-like and less random side stories going on.

btw does anyone know the easiest way to kill taht dragon boss? Am I thick or did anybody else find this boss a right ****er?

I finished chapter 6 today (level 6-1 was absolutely terrible, boringly repetitive).

Daddio - if its the chapter 1 boss you're talking about,

switch to 3d view when he is swooping in, jump on his back, move to his head, and use the throwing pixl to pick up the little enemies and throw them at his head.

I completed the game last week. Have to say I really got into it. Great fun once you unlock all the characters. But overall it was just far too easy,especially

when you get Bowser.
