 hey, did anyone go to the photo-vision road show at croker the other day? Your man Guy Gowan had some cool tips for Photoshop in the first seminar. I found it pretty good. Any comments?

I was so sickened that work prevented me from attending, purely to see Guy Gowan. His techniques are starightforward and make sense.I got the opportunity to talk with him one year one on one for about a half an hour, actually at the photovision show anmd he made an awful lot of pratical sense in his approach to image retouching in general. I've been a big fan ever since.

I thought the show was quick to get around and it had plenty for me to have a look at and I talked to a lot of people. Got my two cameras cleaned too :)

was he still using the same ol' photos to demonstrate his techniques?

I got a call from the photovision people last week. Had forgotten about it until then. Couldnt go. This work thing stops you from having all the fun :(

I have to say guy Gowans approch to photoshop was very refreshing. Having looked at the Total Training dvd's, Guys' work is top notch in terms of productivity and simplicity. Thats the way it should be me thinks!

I rushed there from work and got stuck in traffic on clonliffe rd. Made it in at 5.30 just as almost everyone was packing up. Doh!

Had a very quick run around and it looked like it was a great little event. I wanted to get my camera cleaned but the guys had packed up and gone :(

Seemed like there was some good bargains to be had too. I wanted to see the Lightroom demo but missed that as well.

Hope they come back next year and I'll take the morning off for it.
