    japan have changed their entire starting 15!!

    this is their 1st team and will probably play aginst canada too

    the 2nd choicers will be wheeled out again for wales i suspect.

    even hearing about such squad rotation would give eddie o sullivan a heart attack :-)

    Prediction == Fiji +20

    3 - 3 at the moment.

    A lot of handling errors from both sides, a few poor decisions etc. from both, neither has really threatened the line.

    I'm trying to figure out what's stuck on the Fijian fly half's jersey.

    only caught the 2nd half, but what a great game, back and forth, plenty of tries for both teams, and an absolutely monumental effort from the japanese to try and win it at the end! The whole team collapsed from exhaustion at the final whistle, great commitment; and i was very impressed by Japan in general, not the walkover i thought it would be for the big Fijians!

    A great game! Best I have seen so far this tournament. The Japanese look very good technically. Throughly enjoyed that as did the crowd.
    Well done to both teams! :D

    If the IRB would get the finger out and give countries like Japan more money to encourage the growth of the game at home then the minnows could but up even more of a challenge.

    Give countries like Japan more money? They're just about the richest nation in the tournament.

    The country might be but not the rugby team.

    What a game - both teams gave it everything. Just shows that there is more to the world cup rather than the top 5-6 teams. Heart went out to poor J.Kirwan

    Fantastic game... really enjoyable. As the boys on TV3 said ... its what the spirit of the WC is about. Lets see a few more like this. :cool:

    Not really, take out Portugal, Georgia, Namibia and Romania who's teams will never do that well bar win the odd game(or come close like Namibia and Romania did) and you're left with;

    Ireland,England,Scotland,Wales,France,Italy,Argentina,Australia,New Zealand,South Africa,Fiji,Samoa,Tonga,Canada,USA,Japan.

    There's still a few smaller teams there who would be considered minnows but who have given bigger teams a run for their money this year.
