oscars 2008 host - jon stewart

    So it seems that Jon Stewart is back for the 2008 oscars. Good or bad folks.

    for my money he was prob the best host since billy crystal. He was very funny in 2006 and was not afraid the upset the "delicate" movie-stars in attendence. He will, without doubt, be a hell of a lot funnier than the likes of Ellen DeGeneres and Whoopi Goldberg !!

    So I am looking forward already to this yrs show - the only downside is that it is still on sky - so discussions during the ad breaks will be more about the clothes being worn rather than the winners and losers. Please god let the BBC get it back soon......

    as far as I am aware (and I am sure to corrected pretty fast on here ;) ) SKY have the rights for the next couple of years. This means they will only show it on the sky movies channels.

    Yeah but its usually well cut down by that stage with any controversial incidents cut out.
