Hello all, new poster here, just wondering if anyone would know where i could buy self adhesive cover strips (beading) to cover the gaps in a laminate floor.
I am in the Tipp. area and have tried woodies to no avail, any help appreciated

Jack, are you talking about the cover strips (quadrants/ scotia) used to cover the gap where the flooring meets the skirting? If so, I've never seen "self adhesive" versions of these, you generally have to glue or pin these to the skirtings yourself. You can use glue alone; I'd use Gripfil or Pinkgrip.

Carpainter, thanks for response. Yes I am after scotia as you call it that hides the expansion gap between the edge of the floor and the skirting.
In the living room there is self adhesive beading covering the edges of the floor, dont know where this was gotten from as have just moved in. It basically has a double sided sticky tape on it and looks the handiest way to do this job

'Fraid I haven't come across that variety, it would be very handy alright but I'm sure if it's available any of the flooring specialists like BTW, Brooks etc would have them, but I imagine it won't be cheap. A regular, prefinished (white viny wrapped) mdf scotia costs €5 a length (8'), an unfinished pine quadrant would cost a little less.

If you're near to Atlantic in Sandyford, they were doing 40% off scotia, minus the sticky pads... if that's any help.
