    Is there such a thing?

Or is it generally just 2 or 4 weeks notice when leaving a job??

I know I only have to give my current employer 2 weeks notice, but I wanna tell my new one its three weeks, so I have a week to do **** all basically lol.

Just say it's 4 weeks notice less a week of holidays owed

Or just say you want a break before the new job.

Yeah, just say three weeks. If they query it, just say that you had already booked that week off as holidays and intend to keep it that way.

Generally employers will only ask whether you can start sooner than you tell them. Just say no, and they're cool.
