What is the standard fuse used in a computer plug.

My computers draws a current of 2.A and Voltage is obv 230V. This gives a power rating of 460W/

    Do i use a 3, 5 or 13A and why?

Well take out the fuse and see what it is, I would assume its about 5amp.

    Thats the problem.
Some are 5 and others 13A.

    What is the official standard?

There are no official standards as far as I am aware!!

Might give a basic idea though!

leaving 25% tolerance on my current of 2 A, a 3A fuse would be fine. Seems that 5 / 13 A are the standards.

    Ok dokie.

    Cheers
