    hi folks,

first ever post so here it goes.

bascially im an acca student.ill be finished my exams within the next year or 2.i work in a small practice.

ive decided that id like to move to Florida when im fully qualified, and i need some advice as to how to go about doing it.

should i try to get a job here in Dublin with a big firm which would have links/offices abroad and hope for a transfer of some sort? or would being a qualified acca be enough to get a job over there? should i just apply for a green card?

    any help greatly appreciated

im in a similar position except i havent even started doing my acca exams!

i was advised that if you can try and find a job with some firm over there, they can organise a visa for you.

anyone else know anything that could help?
