    well ive just gotten my first ever student card and i heard ya can get some good discounts with this baby so i wanna know what!! anyone?:D

    ive already used it in the cinema so any other good uns!?

    The Virgin one is f-ed up.You have to fill out a form.Sounds too much like hard work for a discount.

    Yeah, but if you just get a new one each time they let you "fill it out and bring it back to us". I've got several of the virgin and hmv ones at this stage :)

    10% from Schuh if you're in ucd and have one of those Ents card thingies.
    Not sure if it applies to every college.
    O' Briens Sandwich Bar offer a 10% or free bottle of water if you show your student card.
    Many pharmacies offer student discounts.

    One of the best discounts, is that wednesday nites in captain americas, €3 pints, which isn't too bad at all, considerin ucd pubs charge €3.50 for ****ing fosters!

    Schuh discount works with Trinity cards as well..
