Amazon have great prices, especially for electronics, much cheaper than here. The problem is the shipping, most of the companies won't ship here and if they do they will screw you. The only real solution is to get it sent to relatives/friends in the US.

You aren't going to find that camera for a better price, really good model, almost bough it. The marine enclosure for it is quite cool:D

Never understood why people want to take 10 meg pics with a 3x opti zoom.

Not slagging, i just think there are better 'worse' cameras available cheaper.

Its not for me. They want that camera and thats it apparently. I said "you won't be able to see the difference on a normal screen between 5mp and a 10mp camera" They wouldn't believe me...oh well. Any ideas anyone?

The difference between shooting 5MP and 10Mp is the size of the print you are able to get, now to most this is not a problem as the print what they see on the screen and that is fine, no need to go above 3MP then, but those who want to crop and adjust the pic then the higher the better, But you have to ensure that the lens is up to the job as well otherwise the 10Mp is a complete waste. As for the camera that is a good price good luck trying to get it at that price elsewhere.
