Hopefully this question won't get me in trouble. Anyone should at least be allowed to ask this type of question.

I purchased a Philips VOIP phone. It uses MSN the same way a Skype phone would use Skype to place and receive calls. I have found MSN to be unpopular with my friends and would like to be able to "hak" the phone so that I can use it as a Skype phone.

Does anyone know if it is possible? Does anyone know of or have a HOW-To document?

Is there anywhere on the web I should consult?

......and finally, am I in trouble with the boards administrators?
