I need to get a few power tools and am looking for a good source. The main tool for which I am looking for a bargain is an air compressor (portable 25 or 50 litres). Any suggestions where to go?

Is it professional/frequent or one off use?

Cheap tools are a false economy if you want something that will last and does the job well.

If you doing 1 or 2 jobs a year then the crap in tescos/dunnes/argos should be fine. I think I saw compressors in argos. Even lidl/aldi have odd things like that.

If it is pro tools I would go online.

Good question. It is more for hobby jobs, and not too frequent, though some of the jobs may be a bit intense. I guess a good quality entry level one would do. Any suggestions for online sites or brands that I should be looking for?
