plug converter req

    A-plug.jpgneed 4 of these as in the foto 2 pin to our type. any one know where i can get em cheap.
    some guy on ebay wants 8 pounds for shiping hehehe]

    That's a US 2-pin, I've had to buy a few of these, think they cost about €3-4 each in Dunnes or Heatons. Maplin, or Peats if you're in Dublin, should also do them. Try the Euro2 shops too, they sometimes have plug converters.

    The cheapest method though, if the plug is on a chord, is to cut it off and replace it with a 3-pin plug.

    Agreed on all counts, 2 euro shops have loads of stuff. In the airport they are only €4 each (expected a ripoff), and I was only there last week, wast an offer either.

    Replacing with 3pin is best, it doesnt matter what colour the wires are, it can go either side, just put one in neutral, one live, and leave the earth unconnected.

    And of course be sure you are not about to fry some 110V equipment!!!
