looking to form tipp band isis style

anyone in tipperary serious about making original music and gigging. Id be very interested in getting together with some serious musicians and writing some experimental progressive metal in the vein of Isis. Just throwing the name out coz its that style that id like to play. not exactly the same but the same idea.
Thoughtful music with songs with meaning. Concept album ideas.

Im an accomplished guitarist and vocalist whatever that means. Iv played and gigged but never really did anything that truly fits the kind of music I love. In a band right now and we are doin very well gigged almost every weekend since we started gigging but its nothing like how I want it to be.

I saw ur post. Thats very similar to what I want to do but yeah, Galway is a long way away for me between work and everything i dont know when id have time to practice.

im in carlow but college and stuff = me being busy lots and i have a **** guitar setup, haha peavey 40w amps dont cut it for isis...and i cant play 'post' anything bass so screwed really $:\$

This is NOT what im looking for. Im not trying to get into an indie easy listening love song type thing. I want heavy, preogressive, thoughtdriven metal.
