I spilled milk on my pc and damaged my screen. So i used a hair dryer to try and get rid of the liquid under the screen. Worked a bit.
    Any ideas?

That section of the screen is dead, and it will more then likely get worse over time. If its in warranty get onto dell, there might be somethiung they can do for you, like a cheap replacement of the panel.

Unlikely, unless you got some kind of accidental damage cover from them.
