Would you like my sort code and bank account details, and how about a copy of my birth cert? - or even my driving license and perhaps a retinal scan of my left eye?

Who in their right mind would transfer money into someone else's paypal account - who they don't know?

You're not the Nigerian guy in Fonejacker on Channel 4 are you? :D:D:D

Seriously though, you just link your bank account details to your paypal account...

Log into paypal account and goto add bank account details - lodge your money into your bank account and use the "add funds" tab in paypal.

    Simple.

P.s. you forgot about the €30 postage fee as well in the auction.

All you could do with account number and sort code is lodge money. FFS its printed on every cheque if you have a chequebook.

Come down off your high horse there Stekelly when you get a chance!

I'm only having fun with the guy and i have endevoured to explain how he could go about getting the funds into his own paypal account without having to rely on anyones help.

Also, you obviously don't watch Fonejacker, otherwise you would know what character in the show my opening line refers to.

Im not on any high horse and if you were "having fun" (why?) why did you open your post with the sarcasm smilie , unless to indicate he was being stupid.

Let's see, hmm, how about everyone who has ever bought something from eBay or other online shops that use Paypal? I've never once sent money through Paypal to someone I do know. If I knew them, I'd just give them the cash.

Not quite so simple, since you can't transfer bank funds into Paypal from an Irish bank account. I thought everyone knew that, it's a well known and talked about problem with using Paypal.

I'd help you out unkle only the card I have registered on Paypal has a very low limit.

UnkleRosco, has anyone helped you out with this matter? Oh and I agree with Stekelly that Access was acting the gimp. It was very poorly attempted humour.

Yeah, but I think you're only allowed transfer a maximum of €300 every so often, unless you send them Photo ID's etc.
