Kicks off today at 1pm with Germany vs Argentina. Also in that group are England and Japan.

USA, Korea, Nigeria and Sweden are in Group B.

Ghana, Australia, Norway and Canada are in Group C.

New Zealand, Brazil, China and Denmark are in Group D.

Anyone know if this is on TV? The matches are on at bad times, but I wouldn't mind watching a few highlights at night.

It is on BBCi (available on Sky Digital, press red on a BBC channel) and Eurosport.

    It's 11.50 on BBC2 tonight.

    Good stuff.

    I predict a Canada v USA final.

The germans just beat argentina 10 - 0.

    I would say Germany - USA/Sweden final.

It was 11-0....the Argie goalie was comical and scored 2 identical own goals.

I always notice that in womens football - the goalkeepers are pants! Although it is a bit thick that they use full size goals.

I don't know why full size goals should be an issue? It's the skills not the lack of tall women that tends to be the issue there.

I've watched a couple of the FA cup finals and have the say, the standard is pretty poor.I wouldnt mind having a look at a couple of WC games though.

My brother played for a top schoolboy team in Dublin and when they were 13 or 14 they played the Irish ladies international team(some of them professionals) in a friendly and beat them 8 or 10 nil. Felt sorry for the ladies.

Had to laugh watching Korea's "Kum Suk " scoring against Nigeria on bbc last night.
