Poor Jim, he trying to get his team to win and all he gets is Brian hanging out in the hallway stirring things up. That said, it was simply classic when Jim said he would be beside the mincer. The mincing machine was right beside him not BD.

Doesn't mean I'm a fan of his. After all, I bear the scars of watching "Up the Elephant and Round the Castle".

Jesus christ what is his problem when i watched hells kitchen tonight i found nothing offemsive if it was a normal guy talking to Jim there would be nothing about it only because it was a shirtlifter talking to Jim he gets all defensive and starts crying only girls are allowed to do that.

Hang on a minute, having a stand up act and making general jokes about gay ppl, disabled ppl etc is one thing and I will say that I have laughed at other comedians that make similar jokes in their acts......BUT making those kind of remarks directly to someone is completely different!

Then it stops being 'just his opinion' and becomes a direct insult and pure abuse.

And how about we all cast our minds back to Celebrity Big Brother where a certain Jade Goody make a racist remark and the whole world exploded with disgust over it and absolutely slated her for it, yet here we are and someone is making comments and passing remark on someone elses sexuality and noone bats an eyelid.....in fact by the sounds of some posters on this thread Brian deserves it because he got offended and upset?!?!

Does this mean that while it's not ok to slag someone about their race, it's perfectly ok to slag them about their sexuality?

The problem with JD is not that he's offensive, un-pc, or has upset poor Brianie-whiney, its that he isn't funny. If this was Bernard Manning, God rest his filthy soul, this situation would have been hilarious but thats because Manning was a man of his time and JD is a pathetic throw back, he's only four years older than Stephan Fry for crying out loud. Goes to show that C4 manipulated the whole lot. It was a marvelous marketing ploy by them to get attention to their show.

I actually googled for this thread I was so f..ked off after watching that little sh!tbag (dowling) put on a show the last night.

Am I the only one who noticed the Dowling had the unique ability to speak clearly during outburts of 'sobbing', whilst breathing in at the same time. Of course, throw in a few shrieks to play up to the camera.

Also, am I the only one who noticed that there were close-up shots on everyone around that table EXCEPT Dowling during his little act. Because he wasn't actually crying, he was putting it on for the cameras.

I was acutally laughing when I first saw it ... I was waiting for Dowling to turn around and started p!ssing himself, playing a joke on Davidson.

Jim had him sized up on Day 1 ... "Brian is doing what he does. Being famous for being famous and putting on an act for the camera".

Some things to consider about this.

Firstly, Brian saying that it was the most hurtful... ect... things in his 30 years of his life was a bit OTT. Also, he should have simply took Jim to task in a more direct way instead of the "ohmygod i cannot BELIEVE you said that" rubbish. He should have said to JD "you're a sad old drunk **** of to bed you git"

Secondly, the producers are just as much to blame. What were they expecting, eh? Put one of the campest men in the UK entertainment industry into a boarding house and working environment 24/7 with Jim Davidson!!! It was done with malicious forethought to have the result we have just witnessed.

Barry was class though. Fair play to him.

I saw this the other night and thought Brian's reaction was way OTT, but that's Brian, that's the way he was in BB too.

JD was out of line, he's old generation totally closed to change or moving with the times.

People are saying that Brian was out of order that JD wasn't that bad but there were 4 other people at the table and they'd all the same reaction including Paul who looked gobsmacked and really disappointed.

JD thinks he's funny, I think this show may show him that he's pretty much an 80's 'comic'
