Villain is our very own trippie, he is fairly drunk at this stage and being hyper aggressive. He has bluffed me off TPTK With 8 high in the last orbit.

Anyway, I am on the Button With AhKo.

    Stacks:
    I have circa 600
    Gordon has circa 500

Folded to Gordon who raises to 7 in the CO, I make it 25 to go. He calls.

    Pot 53:
    Flop JhKh6h

    Gordon pots it, I call.

    Pot 150
    Turn: 5c
    Gordon Pots it, I call?

    Pot 450
    River 3c

Gordon pushes all in for 300 odd. I?

Should I have folded the turn after he potted it or am I justified in going the whole way with the Ah?

not sure i agree with this...

if, as you say, he is a bit drunk and playing very aggressively then his range pf is huge. anything from KJ or J6 to a flopped flush. as you said in the other thread you are happy to have built up your stack and have spent the night doing so.

i don't think in this situation i'd be happy calling the river bet with one pair. surely a raise on the flop is better than a call?

    Flop call>>>>>>>>>>>raise

I think a flop raise folds out most if not all of the hands I beat and only gets called or re raised by hands that have me crushed. Plus it is far less likely he is drawing considering the fact I have the Ahearts.

Umm.. call, TPTK is pretty good vs drunk HAGs.

i think this is pretty thin.

He doesnt do it with KQ but would do it with a bluff. Id have to be at the table for this one before i could make a decision.

I think the key decision here is the turn, you're not getting the odds to draw to your heart so if you're going to call you have to be prepared to get it in on a blank river as he'll almost certainly fire a third barrel so you have to call thinking you're ahead and the river is not likely to have changed anything. I'd probably fold the turn but it depends entirely on how drunk/aggressive he's been.

He has bet the max three times now...so it seems like a question of were you beaten from the start, he flopped two with his KJ or maybe even trips?? or your ahead of his nothing/pair.

He would probably play it the same in both cases, assuming he was afraid of the flush draw, he was trying to make you pay to see cards protecting his hand or he has air/one pair and trying to push you off. Its a tough spot alrite, guess it depends on what you picked up from him from actually being there?

hmmm an "it depends" post here..guess not what you wanted at all:D

raise the flop and call a push. Reasons:

image. He bluffed you bad last orbit. Play like you want revenge and he wont be able to resist the temptation to try and rebluff when he suspects you are FOS.

staks. If you make it 120 on the flop he has 425 left ie. just the right ammount to make 3betting look sexy.

implied odds. Your draw probably has none and another heart will kill your action. Draws like this are more useful for semi-bluffing then drawing to. The less disguised a draw is the more willing we should be to raise it.

ranges. You are likely ahead. I know we are 250bb deep but as you know this is a RR pot and live plays bigger in my limited experience.

his play. I don't know how the guy plays but in this type of game and with your read I would take his flop lead more as an indicator of weakness then strength. Just from personal experience.

I agree with this. You are ahead of his range more often than not and in the event that you are not, you do still have outs.
