i used to view the photos in the Sunday Times magazine , particularly the war shots -- in total awe --

then when i was in my teens i loved the reggae mid 70s photographs from Jamaica -- and i was reminded the other day of some shots of the clash in the war torn Belfast of 1977 (NME) -- apart from loving the music , the photography did it for me -- i also love many of the classic iggy pop /new york dolls/ stones images from the mid 70's --

thats what kicked me off to where i am today , whatever that is :)

I got offers of books and stuff when I was younger and shrugged it off, advised to take it up etc.

Then a few years ago ,I decided to start learning.

I started taking photographs when I was 11. It's a little bit too long ago to remember why exactly I thought it was cooler than brownies.

I wanted to be able to give pictures of funny or shared moments to my friends. So after Point-and-Shoot camera came feeling to have a little more control, to learn a little more and to have nice camera to produce nice pictures of nice women. Well, womAn. And after we had split I have changed to "of womEn" ;-)
Just joking about the girlz. Really I wanted to have "my pcitures".
And picture that hooked me? This one:
    sudek_g.jpg
It was mind cracker to me. It was so graphical! I was thinking how it was done. And aftert that I have been introduced to other pictures by Josef Sudek. His table-tops, stills and "rainy window" stills are fantastic. And landscapes! Amazing.

That was it. It sound stupid, but those pictures looked more like images or paintings to me.
    That's it, nothing complicated.
