Due to matters beyond our control, the AFTERLIFE Festival has been moved to Dublin's multiroom and garden venue McGruders (Thomas Street Dublin 8)

People who bought tickets for the event can now get a refund from the point at which they purchased their ticket from next week.

Due to Court being closed during the month of August we had to wait till 5th September to ask for the license. The license for AFTERLIFE was knocked back in the first hearing. Based in our previous license application experience we assumed that there would not be reasons why we won't get a license that were not there before the application had been made. We have objectors and we have supporters from the local community. ( A previous festival in that area left the Gardai and community not very happy) The Gardai objected and the license could not came through. This is not an unusual thing to happen with Festivals and could be solved but the key here is the time so we have been decided to move it to an already licensed venue.

The good news is that for those who had planned a mad day out, they still have the chance of enjoying some of their favourite acts. We looked for a venue that could host all our stages so most of the acts and djs could have the chance of play their sets. We found Mcgrudders in Thomas Street Dublin 8 a good candidate due to it's back garden and multi function rooms ( two new rooms never used before also will be open for this event) . LIFE team will start working on the venue from Monday 10th September to redesign, redecorate and transform it giving it the spirit of a festival venue. Expect a transformed venue, live bands, acts and DJs wanting to play and blow your minds off.
Limited Tickets to go on sale this Monday in the usual places and www.tickets.ie .

We are very sorry to say this and hope you still enjoy LIFE and AFTERLIFE.

    Love&Light
    LIFE FESTIVAL TEAM.
