Achtung! Achtung! It's the Return of the Shocks. Saturday October 13th is set up to be a day of almighty shocks. First up, we have Ireland taking on Germany at Croke Park and then later on we have Germany taking on Ireland at the Tivoli Theatre. For ze football after party, we have no less than the International Deejay Gigolo, DJ Hell coming to play. His first Irish set since 2004, this will be a killer night of Hellish sounds with highlight footage of Ireland's soon-to-be-famous-victory playing on the TV screens through the night.

Whether it's remixing Grace Jones & Pet Shop Boys, hanging out in the Playboy Mansion or being voted one of the 50 Best Dressed Men in Vanity Fair (just knocking Giles out to #51), Hell is always on the move, always fresh. Most importantly in our book though, he's a big football fan and we're looking forward to a few matchday scoops with the big man.

As if that wasn't enough of a momentous day, we've also asked Alexander Robotnick to come over and turn out for EC FC on the day.

The legendary Italo figure, Alexander has played many times for us through the years and his infectious mix of electro & italo will be the perfect way to start rocking the shock. Opening up the musical proceedings will be EC resident Deep Danny Power

Join us for what will be a day of celebration, we'll be heading along to the match in the afternoon with Hell and then back up to the Tivoli that night to kick start the fun with Dan Power, Alexander Robotnick & Hell ready to lift the roof off the Tivoli.

    Ladies and Gentleman.....

Roll up roll up for one of the biggest events of the year as Electric Shock prepares to jolt the fabled Tivoli venue into life in a way Staunton couldn't do with the boys in green. Hell makes his long-awaited return to Ireland and Alexander Robotnick is going to play just behind him in the hole. Tickets are flying out as quickly as the FAI ones are being sent back - We'll see you in Croke Park beforehand! Here's a little more info about the football-loving meister.

For the last 25 years Hell has been an eminent member of the electronic music elite. Hell and his label, International Deejay Gigolos, have collectively been responsible for much of the electro wave that has been rampaging worldwide over the last couple of years. His approach is more modern than that of any 20-year old. He has worked with Donatella Versace, played at a private party of Mr Playboy, alias Hugh Hefner, and has surprised the world with his curious looks and eccentric style. Here's Sir Helmut's current chart:

    01 Dusty - Kid Psika
    02 Sistema - Te Tazas
    03 Visandi - Racing Tracks
    04 HELL - Familienklang
05 Jah Wobble - How Much Are They (Peter Black Edit)
06 Tiefschwarz - Original (Carl Craig Mix)
07 The Fix - Dump Patch
08 Unkle - Burn My Shadow (Radio Slave Mix)
09 Infant presents Simon Baker Jitters
10 Kidscience - The Lights (Nick & Danny Mix)

    Hello,

For the first time in over 4 years, the legendary Hell makes his return to Dublin. This original International Deejay Gigolo is one of the biggest DJ's on the planet and he is getting set to blow up the Tivoli after Robbie Keane smacks a few past Oliver Kahn. Through the years on Disko B, R&S & Gigolo, Hell has taken his own path fusing Chicago House, techno, new wave, electro and more leading the way for countless others. But don't just get caught up in the image, Hell is the real deal - a bona-fide legend. speaking of legends, Alexander Robotnick, the Italo Disco don is on the bill - a cult hero in Dublin - his infectious love for the music is the perfect way to get the party moving. Make sure you're there to see the Tivoli rise up and go off like very few venues can and don't forget the bar is open until 3.30am! Tickets will be available on the door but if you are picking them up in advance to avoid the queues, head to www.tickets.ie/electricshock where you can get tickets for all the Electric Shock parties.

    Set Times:

    12.30 - 3 -- DJ Hell

    11.00 - 12.30 -- Alexander Robotnick

    10.00 - 11.00 -- Dan Power

    Competition:

The correct answer was Thorsten Fink. Thanks for all the entries. All three winners have now been informed. Well done!

We shall leave the last words on this gig to Hell himself "I have huge huge respect for both P Diddy and Hugh Hefner and people like them generally. Because I see what these kind of people have created in their lives," said Hell, "They live their dream and nothing else, so I think I'm on the right path myself," and we will drink our Molloy's Moet to that on Saturday night - we hope you can join us.

    Cheers!
