My laptop won't play any DVD's anymore. i have one change left in the regions but it wont let me change it back to the european region. At the moment it is stuck on America but it wont play american DVD's either.
    Any Suggestions?

A firmware upgrade might be a solution, depends on your DVD drive. That could change it to region free but an easier option might be just to use VLC Media Player to play your DVDs as it ignores the region settings.

Yeah VLC is great like that - you lose a little functionality but still great for watching any region dvd's.

Is the laptop by any chance a dell? I have the same issue. Havn't tried to fix much because the GF is using the laptop for the past while and I have another laptop. I'm going to try the firmware update when I get a chance...
