media streaming on a mac

hi guys

Just wondering if this is possible:

I have a nokia 770 internet tablet that supports media streaming over universal plug 'n' play (upnp) and would like stream videos, photos and music over my wireless network.

heres what i have:
1)emac with wireless
2)Airport extreme base station
3)Mac os 10.4.9

Is the above possible with the above equipment or do I need extra stuff.
I am using a application called canola which looks pretty cool if i can get it to work over wifi.

have you tried Googling for information on using the internet tablet with Mac?

I'm sure this is possible, people have to have tried it out already.

I use Slimserver on my Mac and the audio player on the N770 to access my itunes library. Works fine but the buffer is around 30 secs so when you change tracks there is a delay. SlimServer is free and there's a "HowTo" on their forum.

Ive gotten itunes to work over normal music sharing over wifi, but i want a music/video/photo solution..ill work on it!

anymore suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

You could also try Twonkyvision - it has mac capabilities (used it a while ago on pc)

Im ahead of ya, found it and installed this morning, just what I needed and is working perfectly.
Very customisable
Very fast, hadly any buffering and lag.
