Just looking at the Munster rugby site fixtures list and they have the EC match v Clermont in Thomond Park for 18 Nov... Didn't realise it was so close to being finished...

also - what sort of changes have been made to RDS, and when is Donnybrook finished?

It's not finished, but it'll be finished enough to hold 15,000 people. The HEC games must be kept away from Cork at all costs.

To put a more serious spin, will Munster keep two stadiums when the new Thomond is opened? I presume there'll be big pressure from the IRFU to play the glamour ML ties in a bigger Thomond?

Well according to that website, for the moment, the EC games seem to be in Thomond and the CL in Musgrave...

True, generally Cork has gotten the higher profile ML games and Limerick has gotton the HEC games, but last year the Leinster ML game sold out Thomond so when the building is done, will we see a shift in policy?

At the minute it would be idiotic to play more than a handful of game in Thomond in it's current state when you have Musgrave available.
