    Hi there,
I lived in Spain for 2.5yrs, and had work done over there, and she was excellent, had 2 bridges made, bit like implants. also the cost was well below what you would pay in Ireland!! Seems the Germans are also good dentists. Good luck, and happy travelling.:)

Yeah people are really going to go from Ireland to India for a crown...

    India? Who mentioned India??

I believe Hungary is the place to go for excellent treatment without the bill leaving a nasty taste in your mouth. ;)

I deleted a post it a spammer linking to a site in India.....

Hungary is certainly not the place to go, its not a fridge freezer you are buying...a once off purchase of a standard commodity. Its a service that requires time, and maintenance. If you look through the countless threads here dealing with this topic you will see, as most sensible people do, that your local family dentist, the Dublin\Cork dental hospital or one of ireland's many excellent private dental specialists, treat to the highest standards.

The problem of over prescription of complex crown and bridge work which is sometimes ill conceived and poorly carried out in very short time-frames can lead to ten of thousands of euros worth of remedial treatment later...(that's 7-15 years later...)

As always look into it carefully...don't be fooled by marketing or slick advertising or unsubstantiated claims. Do the research, make sure you are comparing like with like and most importantly ensure that you really do need all that work done...only then make a decision and remember don't automatically expect your local dentist to maintain or repair this "complex" dental treatment later on.
