No fire module on Fas safe pass course

I was quite surprised that there is more about rats urinating and vibrating power tools than anything about fire safety on the Fas safe pass course, not a word about what class of fire extinguishers should be used or how to use a fire blanket.

True, but imagine failing the Safe Pass, as you didn't know the proper amount of oil to cook a sasuage with?

I would maul someone to death if they started enquiring about fire safety! The mere thought of that course makes me shudder!

Maybe one day is not enough, they failed to cover other topics like handling gas bottles and compressed air.

Believe it or not, but the Safe Pass course has brought the amount of accidents down a fair bit! A lot of the stuff is pretty much common sense, but there'll always be one person who won't know something, and end up hurting himself beacuse of the lack of knowledge.

Now, you do bring up a few things that are not on it, but you have to admit: the same Safe Pass course is done by everyone. Because of this, there'll always be stuff not on it, as apprenticeships are a varied job.
