How much money does Boards make?

    Hi,

I was wondering how much money Boards.ie makes for whoever it is that makes money from it. Adverts, subscriptions, etc. Is it enough for whoever owns it to not work? I've heard of people living from their blogs so Boards must bring in plenty of pennies

The admins have several pads in the Costa Del Sol, or so I've heard*.

*they don't have as much as people think, some is used for hardware and some is used for grub for the boards beers. I doubt they will be retiring anytime soon.

The answer to your question is only revealed to subscribers. For a mere €50 a year you can find out too. Don't forget to add your €50 to the figure they give you.

They make enough to keep the place running and have a bit left over for Regi to have a nice meal.

I have it from reliable* sources that boards income is approaching 6 figures monthly.

I make about 20 english pence a day down the mines.

Accounts show a rise in assets between 2005 and 2006 of a stomping...

    13,000 euro.

Not quite 6 figures a month is it?

Not too shabby though.. Nowadays 13,000 will buy you a train journey from Cork to Dublin and a sandwich in Heuston Station

Boards.ie is a limited company and their revenue details are in the public domain, I just couldn't be bothered my arse filling out the forms to find out how much they make ;)

Forms? cro.ie, wham, bam, done. Costs money though.

Judging by the rate the mod salaries have been rising in the last few months I'd say they must be raking it in! I'm only modding one forum and my salary's gone up to 55k plus 15 squid per banning. Not too shabby. I dread to think what the smods must be making by now. I'm underappreciated :(

Just like the US multi-nationals, the Boards.ie owners send all their money back to their Lizard overlords in space, so their profits don't contribute to the Irish economy.

Damn immigant Lizards!

For the princely sum of €3.50 you can ask the CRO. My question: Why do you care?

Boards.ie is a business, it makes money (although the fashion among the Mods is to make out like it's a charity) or it wouldn't be. How much shouldn't be any of your business, but you can find out.

Regardless, whoever owns it still has to work. You think Admin is not work?

    Boards.ie earns all the money.

    All of it.

An online form is still a form plus I'd rather spend my €2.50 on a roma hooker ;)

I'll bet you wish you had the AH gig.
Also, those people who are just off the smokes can be a crabby bunch. :)
