Myself and a few mates will be looking for somewhere good to watch the France v Argentina game on Friday night, somewhere close to Grafton Street area. We were thinking Down Under, does anyone have any opinions? Maybe somewhere on Baggot St would be better??

I dont tend to watch any sport in the pubs in town but i remember being in Sinnotts beside Stepehns Green Shopping Centre and they had a good few TVs around the place and it is on the top of Grafton St.

As to what the clientele are like in there i havent a clue.

I will be watching it at the Woolshed on Parnell Street, far better than Down Under, and not that much of a walk from Grafton St

I'll probably watch in Doheny & Nesbitts on Baggot Street. I'll be in there for pints after work (a going away do, I wouldn't normally be there... honest!).

It's a rugby pub. It's even featured in a Heineken ad in the Irish Times WRC suppliment today.

Yeah, saw that ad. Might try there, I'll be out for after work drinks too around Baggot St, The Woolshed is probably too far to get everybody to go, unfortunately. I've a feeling its going to be a long night...
