Where did the green bin go?

Last week was the black bin only collection day from Panda, but I noticed one of my neighbours put their green bin out too. The next day I saw it was emptied so I'm wondering, emptied where? I hope they didn't just dump it into the waste truck and now all the contents will be going to landfill?

I've never been up early enough to see them do the 2 bin collection on the proper day so I'm not sure if they use 1 truck for both bins or have one for recyclables and one for landfill?

I'm also wondering how they are going to sort the glass collection thing out. They have no instructions on how to pack the glass into the green bin so I'm guessing everyone just puts a bottle in once they have used it. This is going to cause a lot of broken glass when the bins are tipped into the truck and bottles are falling on bottles.

I read that something like 60% of green bin material was sent to landfill by Panda so I'm not too confident that everything is being recyled:(

Same happened again last week. So are they just dumping the green bins left out on the wrong day in with the black bin and putting the whole lot to landfill:( ?
