Recommend a good place around dublin city centre for second hand clubs?

Hi I'm looking to get a set of male right handed clubs (even half set), bag, trolley for cheap - maybe 100quid.

I live in D4 and likely to start playing in public courses first, deer park and the like.

    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

If you're not too fussy about the type of clubs, ie just want something to get started with check out some of the freebie sites such as dublin waste.ie or similar. I've seen sets of clubs on there before.
I always find buyandsell have comedy prices for golf, usually some chancer asking about 90% of RRP for some piece of crap, adverts.ie might be a better bet, the posters tend to have some sense of reality with prices.

..and there's always fleabay or McGuirks/Premier Golf/Golfworks. Recently, i was in Premier golf in newbridge and they had about 15 good sets of second hand irons in stock, can't vouch for McGuirks/Golfworks recent stock levels

Good advice from markie4 try ebay for some real good value or just ring each shop ask them what they have available. Let us know what you get.

Premier Golf in Ballymun have about 20 sets of 2nd hands clubs at reasonablish prices at the moment. Unlike McGuirks or Golfworks who seem to charge crazy prices for the few they might have.

I realise that it's far away but if you are ever up in Belfast then try Fortwilliam GC. Peter Hannah usually has a very good range of 2nd hand clubs. Ring him and see what he has in.

Nevada Bob's in Belfast also does 2nd hand sets though they obviously will try to push new sets first.

If you want I have a bag, I don't want any more. So if you want to take that away then look at getting the clubs. I used to know that a trader over in Fairyhouse on Sunday morning sold very good sets at that sort of money. Not sure if he is still there, but give that a try. If you want the bag let me know, I work in D8 so you could pick up one day. I will check back here tomorrow.
