hi, getting the following error message when i try to extract a zip file: 'Cannot open file: It does not appear to be a valid archive' is there any way to fix this or is file corrupt? thanks.

File is probably corrupt. In the olden days there was a zipfix program, so you may be able to still get some of the contents out.
