Ryanair flight change question

I've never done a flight change before and I'm wondering how it works?

I am booked to fly with Ryanair on Thursday, Dublin - Stansted and then Stansted - Bratislava (~€100 all in)

I cannot make these flights anymore.

Now I want to book Dublin - Bratislava direct on Tuesday morning (€59.99 before taxes).

What I am wondering is should I just book it and write off the original itinerary or if I am to go with a flight change what are the advantages, if any, because from what I can see they're are charges involved so why bother:confused:

    Hope someone can help:o

I think it will be a case of booking the new flights and just forget about the other one

You could change it, they will charge you around €40-60 to do that though
