    Well, it's new to me anyway. It claims to address many of the problems of normal trems

    Looks rubbish.

    I don't see anything revolutionary there. Seems to split in two depending on if you're pulling up or down, double-fulcrum design or something. Can't really see the point of this. From a design point of view, it seems overly complicated and hard to maintain - the barrell hinges are prone to wear and difficult to lubricate.

    Meh.

    Not really, overly complicated design IMO. The saddles are fixed and the string slides back and forth over it to achieve pitch changes, thats just asking for broken strings. More moving parts and more pivot points, well that means more wear and tear, more friction, less stability. It's still spring-balanced, just has a big dead-zone like with a trem-setter.

    Nah, wouldnt go throwing away the floyds just yet ;)
