    Hey lads,

Been having a run of bad luck today and I'm wondering if anyone can help me with something.

I arrived home tonight, turned off the bike and parked it out the front as I went to open the back gate. When I turned on the ignition I heard a little click and quickly enough all power went from the bike - no headlight, no dash lights, nothing.

I reckon its a fuse thats blown around the battery. I checked the little fuse box but they were all fine. There's a red 30A fuse cap that seems connected to the battery, and funnily enough I reckon there's a 30A fuse in there thats possibly my problem, but I cant get the cap off because it seems stuck.

Could this blown fuse be the problem? I know thats kind of a stupid obvious question, but could it be anything else? I have the battery charging on one of those halford chargers so I can rule that out (its set up properly for a bike and not car) and will try it tomorrow.

Its really annoying because I'd booked a pretest with david lyons for thursday morning just before leaving for home! Talk about timing...

Sounds like a blown fuse. I doubt it's the battery as the lights would work but be very dim. Has the cap melted on the fuse box?
