    i heard that u can make a voip call at voip rates with a regular phone, using a sip router. is this true?
    wats incolved in getting this to work?

    it wood be fantastic if this was for real!

    You can use equipment such as the AVM Fritz!box which will give you two or three phone ports to connect standard (corded, cordless, DECT) phones to.

    You obviously need a stable broadband connection. Sign up to a SIP service such as Blueface, VoipCheap etc. Set up the box (e.g your SIP account details) , connect up your phones and existing phone line if the router you use has the facility (the Fritz!Boxes do).

    Should be straight forward.
