You are on the small blind correct? If so i am more inclined to flat call or fold preflop. I dont want to get too funky with AQo out of position in a big pot.

    As played call the 76

i dont like 3betting in this spot when you've no info on any of the villains.

as played i call here getting just over 3.5 to 1

Id fold this preflop, with no reads a 3bet here is likely to fold out AJ-A2 which we want in the hand and will get called by AK which were behind to and were going to find it hard to fold on an Ace high and we dont know whos calling 3bets light so were going to be in a horrible spot OOP wheter an A flops or not.

i agree i could get myself into a tough spot on the flop if called preflop - however, i think a lot of the time, their is a lot of dead money in the pot - i.e the 2 callers after the original raiser are going to be weak a lot of the time.... so that leaves the original raiser, i think theres going to be a huge range of hands he will fold preflop:

    1. - suited connectors, small pocket pairs, a/10, a/j, k/q etc

i think folding preflop is fine, but i dont think what i did is neccesarily a bad play.....?

Preflop is fine imo apart from the betsizing. I would make it 40ish to play. As played you can't fold now. You were pretty unlucky to get that amount of action pre.

If you are going to do this 3 - bet for more. At least 40. Even as much as 45 - 48 so that you cover the shortstack. You are bluffing after all - so maximise your FE. We created a large multi - way pot OOP with a crap hand as a result of the raise you did make.
yea fair point, if the original raiser calls it makes it good value for the other 2 to call

he has made it 4x the original bet, i dont like making it anymore than that.

    I fold preflop....
I definately don't bet into this flop in a protected pot as if your called your beaten generally...

As played you've got yourself in a toughie and I call..

    Nothing really majorly wrong here...

well whether you like it or not you should still make it more anyway if you want to raise - because four people are in for $8 before you.
i think its unlikely it would be made that much with a premium hand, if they call $32 they should have a very simliar range for $40.
